About Frozen Forums
Frozen Forums is the home for Central Ohio ice sports. Find a goalie at 11pm, scout your next team, sell your old skates, and actually find the answer you posted about three months ago.
The Mission
If you play hockey in Central Ohio, you already know the drill. You need a sub for tomorrow’s beer league game, so you post across three different groups and hope someone who can actually play sees it in time.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes you get burned by a no-show. And when you want to find that gear deal someone posted last week, it’s already gone, buried somewhere in the feed.
Frozen Forums is built for what social feeds can’t do. Structured tools that actually work. A real Looking-for-Goalie system. A real player finder. A real rink directory. Searchable forums where the answer to your question doesn’t scroll away.
Built locally by a Columbus Capitols travel alum, beer-league goalie, and UX designer who wanted hockey to have a home of its own.
Who It’s For
We’re not just for the kids. We’re not just for the AA players. We’re for everyone who plays, coaches, drives, or pays for ice time in Central Ohio.
What We Stand For
Every feature exists because somebody at a rink asked for it. If it doesn't help you get on the ice, it doesn't ship.
Posts show up in order. Tools work the way you'd expect. We don't bury your goalie request to sell you a boost.
Run out of Central Ohio by someone who actually plays. Built with input from coaches, parents, and beer leaguers from the rinks you skate at.
