CAHL state of play: the regular season closes, T5P and Jetstream Jets finish perfect, and the high school divisions wake up and torch the league.
Eleven weeks in, all 30 divisions have closed their books and the brackets are seeded. T5P Hockey and Jetstream Jets both finished the regular season 10-0-0, the three high school divisions finally played and produced the league's loudest team in Lincoln White at plus-62, and Round 1 opens this Saturday at Chiller North.
The regular season is over. Eleven weeks after the first puck drop, all 30 divisions have closed their books, the brackets are seeded, and the only question left is who gets to keep skating. Two clubs finished the run without losing a game, a high school division that sat empty all summer woke up and outscored everyone in the league, and Round 1 is already on the calendar. Here is where every division stands as the playoffs begin.
The perfect club made it to the end
Two adult teams took a spotless record all the way through the regular season and carry it into the playoffs as banners on the wall. T5P Hockey finished 10-0-0 in Wednesday B West A at plus-46, the largest goal differential of any adult team in the league. Jetstream Jets matched the unbeaten run at 10-0-0 in Thursday C South, plus-39, with twelve goals allowed across the entire season. Two teams, twenty games, zero losses, and now they find out whether a perfect regular season means anything in a one-and-done bracket. It never guarantees a banner. It just guarantees everyone else wanted your seed.
The high school divisions woke up and torched the league
All summer the three high school divisions sat seeded at zero, waiting for a first puck drop. They got it, played a full eight-game slate, and produced the loudest team in the entire league. Lincoln White went 8-0-0 in High School North and scored 84 goals doing it, plus-62, a differential nobody else in any division came close to. Gahanna White (8-0-0, plus-47, High School West) and Liberty Black (8-0-0, plus-32, High School East) finished perfect right alongside them. Three divisions, three unbeaten champions, and the fastest hockey nobody was watching until now.
The unbeaten-but-not-perfect club
Two more adult teams closed the season without a regulation loss but with a shootout point on the card. Goal Train finished 10-0-1 to take Wednesday B West B outright, the only blemish a single shootout that cost them nothing but the word perfect. Chico's Bail Bonds ran Thursday C West to a 9-0-2 finish at plus-26. Neither lost a hockey game outright this season. Both start the playoffs as a one-seed with a target already painted on.
Loudest offenses of the season
The teams that spent the year outscoring the problem. Final regular-season goals for:

Lincoln White put up 84 in eight games and nobody else in the league cracked 80 in eleven. Wednesday B East owns four of the six loudest offenses and did not put a single one of them at the top of the perfect list. Scoring filled the highlight reel all season. It is a bracket now, and the highlight reel does not vote.
Stingiest defenses of the season
The other way teams got here. Fewest goals against on the season, six games or more:
- Native Sons, 12 goals against in ten games (Monday D West B)
- Jetstream Jets, 12 in ten (Thursday C South)
- Red Knights, 15 in ten (Monday D West B)
- Ohio Warriors, 15 in eleven (NTPRD Chiller Sunday D)
- Puck Uglies, 16 in ten (Monday D East)
- Ruckmoor Cannons, 16 in ten (Thursday C South)
Native Sons and the Jetstream Jets finished the season tied for the fewest goals allowed in the league, twelve apiece, barely more than a goal a night across a full slate. Monday D West B put two clubs on this list again, Native Sons and Red Knights, which is why that Monday building was the hardest place to score all season. Defense travels into a bracket better than anything. Whoever is in those nets is exactly who you want when a sub spot opens on a playoff night.
Round 1 is already on the board
The high school bracket drops first and it drops this weekend. Saturday, July 25 at Chiller North, High School North opens with Lincoln White against SC White and WK Wolves against SC Red, while Chiller Dublin runs the rest of the round. The adult brackets follow: Wednesday B West A opens Round 1 on August 5 at Chiller Easton, and Thursday C South goes August 13 across Easton, Dublin, and Ice Works. Seeds are being set as the last results post, so the matchups fill in by name over the next week. The dates are locked. The pairings are the only thing still loading.
Still chasing the first win
The winless list closed the season at two, both of them expansion sides in a brand-new high school division. New Albany and Warcats Black each finished 0-8-0 in High School East, a rookie division's growing pains against rooms that had a summer head start. First seasons are a foundation, not a verdict. The teams that took their lumps this summer are the ones nobody wants to draw next year.
The Women's League is still on deck
The Women's League is seeded, rostered, and scheduled, and still sitting at zero games played across every team. It is the one division on the board that has not started its season while everyone else finishes theirs. The moment the puck drops, it gets its own look right here.
